Thy Splaysh

And all of a sudden it hit me
this poetry performance thing is just too freakin intense
its like one rhyme being mauled after another by its successor
its a freight train thats never eased of its burden

but now the emotion has eased
and I now feel its acceptable to let my thoughts be loosed
let them be free from formality and conformity
they will simply sway outside in the wind where I leave them
not troubled by verse or phrase, or an over-ambitious guardian
one who is likened to a control freak

so I will set it in words as and where I see fit
it will be a sculpt of my choice, moulding the elements tightly or weak
these are my thoughts and feelings in word, free
splaysh!
